State-of-the-art equipment efficiently performs track surfacing and undercutting. Our mobile and site-based crews are FRA safety trained and ready to respond at a moment’s notice.
Class 1 Reconstruction and Rehabilitation
Atlas has the unique experience and skill to perform above and beyond on Class I lines. We tackle rail, panel turnouts, and tie changeout; track undercutting and surfacing; and road crossing rehabilitation. Our safety-driven, hard-working teams are headed by Class I trained personnel with years of mainline field credentials.
Industrial Inspection, Construction and Maintenance
Atlas crews are deployed nationwide to perform in-plant transportation services:

Public Transportation and Mass Transit
Atlas has successfully completed over $100 million on major, urban transit projects. We work nationwide for heavy and light rail facilities such as Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., Cleveland and Dallas. We bring value-added design, engineering and modern techniques of performance.
Bridge Rehabilitation – Structure and Timber
Atlas’ pledge to provide a full turnkey agenda for our clients has been fulfilled in the last few years with our structural and timbering crews. We can provide structural repairs, bridge inspections, concrete, timber, and total rehabilitation.
Intermodal / Government Facilities
Atlas’ award winning services for the intermodal and public works sectors are expanding each year. The U.S. Army Corp. of Engineers have rated us an “Exemplary provider of quality work – accident free and on time.” We also work for the Department of Defense, U.S. Navy, North Carolina Ports, Dundalk Marine Terminal and many other agencies and private shippers. We provide turnkey finance, engineering, design, consulting and construction management services.
Equipment Rental and Shop Facilities
Atlas’ modern equipment fleet is available for short-term rent or long-term lease. We service high-rail units and rebuild or re-manufacture popular rail M-O-W units, at our 12 acre state-of-the-art shop/yard facility.
